Burnshield Hydrogel

Burnshield is safe for you to use on all types of burns, an essential for all first aid kits.

This includes:

  • Thermal burns - caused by flames, hot liquid, hot objects or gases
  • Radiation burns - caused by UV rays i.e. sunburn, x-ray or sunbeds
  • Chemical burns - caused by acids, alkalis, phenols, cresols or mustard gas
  • Electrical burns - caused by accidental electrical contact

What is it made from?
Open cell flexible foam, water (96%), non toxic, melaleuca alt. (Tea tree), gelling agent, sterilised by gamma irradiation. ISO 13485: 2003 CE accredited, non irritant.

Burnshield is currently being used by paramedics and in A&E units.
